I've used Windows since Windows 3.11, and have switched to Macs in the last 2 years. But once I'm done, I switch back to my iMac! That said, I still use it to game as it is great at that. This is just a few reasons of why I prefer macOS to Windows. You only open it to discard that constant Java update notification and that's it - The Windows Update experience (I've said enough) - lots of tinkering involved with the software/hardware (although this is not a problem for me), look at custom built PCs for example - Easier to get hacked or get infected by viruses (although it could be debatable. The same can't be said for Apple apps on the mac - Notification centre is horrific and useless.
